Clovelly Residence

A major extension to a heritage listed 1860’s house.

The juxtaposition of old and new is strengthened by the use of contrasting forms, colour and textures.

The continuation of external material create a seamless connection between the original and new elements.

The heritage facade viewed from the street is preserved with the new extension simply nestled in behind, only from the rear does it rise up to the garden and pool taking on its own form.
